My Experience of Kedarnath Shiva Temple Trek - Jaipur
During my trekking tours in and around Jaipur, I got to know about this trek through one of my friends. I called a few of my college buddies to join me on this trek and as always they were happy and even excited to join me in this trek.
We planned this trek for the coming weekend, Saturday but it was raining heavily in Jaipur, so the plan was moved to Sunday, which was even much better as the weather was so amazing on that day, I had this feeling that this will going to be one of the best treks because of the super romantic weather.
The trekking route turns gorgeous after the rain |
So as planned, we met at the main road of Jagatpura, New Choudhary Dhaba in the early morning. We parked our cars and took eatery items and yes homemade tea and stuff and started our memorable trek.
We got the trail from where we had to climb, although we had to struggle a bit to get the correct route of the trek. Once we found the correct route, we started climbing the hill. As we moved on, the scenery was getting even more beautiful and marvelous. The green surroundings, the cloudy weather, the chill, and the smoky air, everything was just perfect. We were so enjoying this trek.
Somewhere in between the trek |
Finally, we reached our destination, the Kedarnath Shiva Temple. The temple felt so holistic and the aura was so amazing. All sides of the temple were surrounded by the beautiful green Aravalli hills. The clouds were moving just in front of us, making the scenery even more incredible. We really had the most rememberable moments there.
The view from the top of the temple is spectacular |
My friend even brought his guitar, so we had a superb musical session, and a tea session with some snacks. The whole experience was just amazing. We loved the vibe and the spiritual aura of Shiva Temple. We had completely endorsed this natural gift of beauty.
We really enjoyed our time there. and finally came back to our starting point.
Points to keep in mind
1. Carry a water bottle with you to keep yourself hydrated along with some energy bars or snacks.
2. Wear a good pair of trekking shoes with a good grip as the trails are steep and have uneven surfaces.
3. Maintain cleanliness in nature. Do not throw any garbage in the open. If you plan to carry snacks with you carry the leftover wrappers with you and keep the surroundings clean for our next fellow trekkers.
